Living Life Ranch The God of all comfort keeps watch over your weeping. He gathers up all your tears and puts them in his bottle (Psalm 56:8). Like a mother sitting beside her child’s sickbed, God marks every sigh of discomfort and pain. No matter how much of your anguish has gone unnoticed by others, not one moment has escaped the attention of the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4).
life with. I thought, as I sat there holding her in my arms while she took her last breath, trying to hold it together, trying not to sob uncontrollably. The veterinarian said to me. “People don’t realize it but taking the suffering away is the greatest act of Love we can show our pets.” This made me think of Jesus. The greatest act of Love was God sending Jesus to walk with us on earth and then allowing his son Jesus to suffer on the cross for our sins. Jesus wanted to save us, he suffered greatly, more than any human could withstand. So that we humans would have eternal life. Even when we believe and accept this magnificent gift of salvation. We don’t think we deserve a gift like this, this kind of Love, but God gives it to us every day. He continues to love us and show us mercy. His forgiveness is real, and you know in his eyes we are worthy, we are valued we are his and he loves us unconditionally. We don’t love like God does, we can work at it, but our human side gets in the way but we can start each day praying for his kind of love to be in our hearts.

I’m going to share this again because I want others who have had this same experience to know, you are not alone, and that God has this for you just let it go and give it to him don’t live in your past and hold onto bitterness and anger. Our stories are all different and will have different endings, but when you give your burdens to God you feel a release and your load is lifted. I went to visit my mom over lunch hour one day at the hospital. As she waits for her next destination. She had come
This past 12 months have definitely been my year for the tears. I’ve mentioned this a few times to others around me. The hits have just kept coming. We all have seasons like this I know. Life changes in a second. Losing my horses was the beginning of my tearful journey this past summer then we lost our Aussie “Liberty” who was with us for 14 years shortly after the horses. One of the sweetest dogs I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending my
