Trail guide and took riders to all the places I found and loved. On July 4 th 1990 I met a handsome cowboy who won my heart. 1992 he and I started a horse rental business. We offered 1 hour to 5 days, riding lessons, dinner rides and breakfast rides. Anything that was related to horses we offered. This income kept the business going. We were both working 15-20 hours work days. We grew so big and fast we borrowed outfits for horse’s the saddles and tack. Family and friends loaned us the equipment we needed to help us get started. We spent 13 years working the horse rental business, then we decided to add cabins so that our visitors
would have a nice country place to stay in while they were here. As we continued our dream through the years, we were adding horses, buying and selling them. Training horses, Breeding and raising our own Foundation Quarter horses. To continue this dream, in early 2000 we took out a loan for our huge building project. This was supposed to take a Year and half to complete, good contractors were scares and hard to find. Well It took 4 years to finish. All the cabins were completed but our house wasn’t.Unfortunately, another Divorce was in place, with only 80% of house done I found
myself alone once again but this time with my mom. I had volunteers that would come and stay and help me fix things. I was on the verge of losing everything, I just took one day at a time as I struggled through. During a 4-year time span, this Woman and her French Bulldog would come to stay with us and she visited with my mom during her stay. During a rough spell God sent me an angel. Out of the blue this woman brought me some hay. Two truckloads of hay that would feed my 20 horses. She said “If you need anything call me.” She went on to say “I have money to invest and I can help you.” So, after months went by, I finally made myself call her for help. She loaned me money no questions asked. This allowed me to get back on my feet, and finally start getting ahead. I know God is with me, he blessed me and this land. We feel so much peace here, his love is present. God heals your heart here and brings comfort to your soul. God blessed me again with a wonderful partner. A guest interduce me to his cousin Dave.
